A Program Manager is the most senior accountable owner of project and program delivery, recovery and sale. He/she combines a track record of contractual and commercial successes, combined with a technical astuteness which enables him or her to support turnarounds, maintenance of timelines and fulfilment of contractual obligations.
He/She develops and implements sustainable resourcing, risk management and escalation strategies, selecting the appropriate guidelines and policies with the purpose of Implementing compliance with internal and external regulations and governance, as well as directing that all strategies are realistic, appropriate and optimum for supporting the desired outcomes.
He/she works with the Account Executive to properly influence and create deliverable programs that will meet the target cost, timescale and scope. Additionally, Program Manager/Director serves as the face of her/his programs to the external stakeholders. As such, s/he attends customer forums in an effort to build and maintain positive relationships.
